Hollywood Cemetery inters a number of historical figures, but perhaps the most visited gravesite is that of President John Tyler. It is lovingly known as The Birdcage and this is one of my favorite photos I took on the day of our visit. His tomb is within this monumental gothic structure...wish I had a house that looked like that! I'm told that somewhere down my genealogical line I'm related to him. Perhaps a love for all things gothic runs in the family?
